Washington County Stage 1 Fire Restrictions Issued, R-2026-3754

Washington County has adopted Stage 1 Fire Restrictions effective May 22, 2026. A copy of the resolution is attached, which lists prohibited activities, such as open fires (campfires, burning trash, etc.), fireworks, and metalworking in dry vegetation. Please review the document for complete details.

As Utah and the Southwest enter an especially dry and potentially dangerous fire season, residents are encouraged to avoid any activities that increase the risk of fire.
