Slash Pile for Chipping is Open

The location to leave tree trimmings and other plant material for chipping at the Dammeron Valley Community Gardens reached capacity last week and was temporarily closed. After two full days of intensive work, DVFR's chipping crew has chipped the estimated 43,000 cubic feet of material that was left at the site. The site is now open again for residents to leave tree and yard trimmings for chipping this spring.
