Dammeron Valley Fire & Rescue in partnership with the Dammeron Valley Community Fire Council has produced an evacuation placard for use by Dammeron Valley residents in the event of an evacuation. These placards will help local, county, and state first responders to identify which homes have been evacuated, and if there are residents in need of assistance. They are designed to be visible both day and night. The placards are available at no cost, one for each residence, and can be picked up at DVFR Station 13. Please stop by the station to request a placard for your home and keep it in a location that is easy to recall and access.

Instructions for use: In the event of an evacuation, please place the placard in a window that is visible from the street or your driveway. As you evacuate, please place the Green side with the large E facing out, showing that your home is evacuated. If you need assistance, please place the Red side with the large H facing out, indicating that you need help. These are to be used in addition to other evacuation tools available, including Reverse 911, Genasys Protect, and calling 911 in an emergency.
